Thurcroft Parish Council maintain three recreation grounds. These are situated across the parish in each of the villages that sit within the parish; Brampton en-le Morthen, Laughton Common and Thurcroft.
The recreation grounds are regularly inspected each week by the councillors who are members of the relevant committees. If you do spot any defects that would cause concern, please contact the Clerk of Thurcroft Parish Council by email - clerk@thurcroftparishcouncil.gov.uk.
We also pay for RMBC to complete a safety inspection once a month. These reports can present a small delay in works that may have been completed since the last report was completed. The latest reports are attached for transparency, and to show the journey of improvement we have undertaken to develop a safe environment for children to play.
Thurcroft Parish Council maintain playing fields for football events that can be hired out to local groups. The price lists are adopted and reviewed by the parish council and are displayed on this page for transparency. If you manage a local football team, please don't hesitate to get in contact with the Clerk if you wish to hire one of the pitches in Thurcroft or Laughton Common.
