100th celebration for Laughton War Memorial

 Laughton War Memorial celebrated its 100th year this month with an event for residents organised by various partners to the war memorial. Thurcroft Parish Council supported the event with a grant of £150 towards a brass plaque for the memorial to commemorate the day. The event was well attended with residents showing their support in droves. Thurcroft Veterans Association marched with residents in a parade through Laughton en-le Morthen.
