Thurcroft Welfare Band deliver outstanding performance and make national competition

Thurcroft Parish Council is pleased to announce that Thurcroft Welfare Band came 2nd in the 4th Section of the Yorkshire Regional Brass Band Championships held on Saturday, 4th March, 2023. The event, which took place at Huddersfield Town Hall, saw the band deliver an outstanding performance, impressing the judges and the audience alike.

The contest brought together some of the best brass bands in the Yorkshire region, and Thurcroft Welfare Band was determined to showcase their talent and hard work. Their performance was met with great applause and admiration from the audience.
