New safety gates installed at playground in Brampton-en-le Morthen

Thurcroft Parish Council have listened to residents concerns to increase safety at the playground in Brampton en-le Morthen.

The new safety gates were installed this week by contractors Lightmain to help keep children safe from the busy road running between the Rising Deer restaurant and pub, and the playground.

Andy Copeland, Lead for Recreation and Playgrounds said "Keeping our residents safe is a top priority, and we are pleased to see the new improvements be made to our recreation grounds around the Parish. It is much needed investment in facilities and hope that this gives parents peace of mind when using the playgrounds".

The Parish had set aside reserves to invest in all play facilities across the parish, which has seen new equipment being installed, and old equipment repaired.
