Remembrance Sunday

Thurcroft Parish has a strong commitment to remembering the fallen and we are proud to host well attended services every Remembrance Sunday.
Remembrance Sunday starts at St Simon and St Jude's Church for a service that begins at 10:00am. The parade will then gather to start from the Church carpark and proceed down Church Street, towards Green Arbour Road and finally up to Thurcroft Memorial Garden where the remembrance service begins at 10:55am.
The parade will then proceed to the Gordon Bennett Memorial Hall for their final destination. The parade is then dismissed.
Light refreshments will be served in the Gordon Bennett Memorial Hall provided by the Church.
The 2023 Remembrance Sunday services will be held on Sunday 12th November.
