Christmas in Thurcroft Parish

Thurcroft is the place to be at Christmas time! There is a whole host of festive events that take place in Thurcroft Parish during the Christmas period and it all starts with the Thurcroft Christmas Weekend on Saturday 25th November 2023.

Christmas Card Competition

After the success of last years Christmas Card competition and the fantastic winning design. We shall be running two competitions this year across Thurcroft and Laughton Common. Watch out for more details soon!

Christmas Lights Switch-on!

We have a whole new set of lights for this year across Thurcroft, Brampton en-le Morthen and Laughton Common. We will be hosting our usual switch-on event on Saturday 25th November from 1pm with the swich-on at 5pm!

Christmas Stalls

At our Christmas event we will be having a Christmas Market to get all those little gifts for Christmas. This will be on Saturday 25th November just before the lights switch-on.

Santa Parade

The Maltby and Rother Valley Lions do a fantastic job of spreading the festive cheer with their Santa's sleigh ride throughout the parish. We will share more details as soon as we have them.

Christmas Show

This year the parish are hoping to hold a childrens Christmas event during Christmas Week at the Gordon Bennett to keep the little ones entertained. More details to follow.
